Grandparents
My grandfather was adamant about not taking a picture with my grandmother together, so I took them separately.
My grandfather was a sailor, trader in his early days, selling knick knacks like consumer electronics to British and American ships docked in Singapore on his little boat.
My grandmother was a housewife all the way till today. She was born into a wealthy family in Singapore.
My grandfather arrived in Singapore very early in their life from a small island in Taiwan, and my grandmother has been here ever since.
I’m proud of them.
One of the reasons why I got a 4x5, portraiture.

Looks like Shanghai film’s reciprocity isn’t as sensitive as Tri-X. Probably try a longer exposure next time.
